Climate Change Books Available at the Library

The Peaks Island Land Preserve has donated seven new books on climate change and the environment to the Peaks Island Library. The books are full of interesting information, and they also contain much hope for the future. They’re easily found through Rose Ann Walsh’s expert help or by looking for the PILP sticker on the spine of the books. The titles are:

The Secret Lives of Bats, Merlin Tuttle

No One Is Too Small to Make a Difference, Greta Thunberg

Wilding, Isabella Tree

Finding the Mother Tree: Discovering the Wisdom of the Forest, Suzanne Simard

The Sixth Extinction, Elizabeth Kolbert

All We Can Save: Truth, Courage, and Solutions for the Climate Crisis, ed., Ayana Elizabeth Johnson & Katharine K. Wilkinson

Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds, & Shape Our Futures, Merlin Sheldrake

We hope you enjoy them.
